The Pouilly-sur-Loire AOC, locally known by its grape variety name CHASSELAS, overlaps with the Pouilly-Fum\u00e9 production area.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the origin of the local wine-making tradition, and still predominant in the 1940s and 1950s, its production has declined in favour of the famous Pouilly-Fum\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Today, total production is carried out on around twenty hectares, nearly half of which is vinified by us.<\/p>\n

This very accessible, light wine, with its delicate aromas of fresh hazelnuts, has long been a favourite in Parisian restaurants, bars and brasseries. Even today, most of our sales are in the \u00cele-de-France region.<\/p>\n

A Controlled Designation of Origin since 1937, Pouilly-Fum\u00e9 (also known as “Blanc fum\u00e9 de Pouilly”) is the historic heart of our production and our main area of expertise.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With a production of around 100 hectares, some of which we own, our cooperative remains one of the main producers of this rare appellation, if not the main one.<\/p>\n

The great diversity of our terroirs (sand, limestone, marl and flint) allows us to offer a very wide choice of vintages.<\/p>\n

Made exclusively from the SAUVIGNON grape variety, whose origins are lost in the history of the Centre-Loire region, the ancestral reputation of this appellation has been boosted by its success abroad and its proximity to the legendary Nationale 7 motorway.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Coteaux du Giennois<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Coteaux du Giennois vineyard is located on the right bank of the Loire River, between Gien and Cosne-sur-Loire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Historically, the wines produced were reds made from Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes.<\/p>\n

In recent years, white wines made exclusively from Sauvignon grapes have been gaining ground and are now on a par with the reds.<\/p>\n

Since the early 1970s, our cooperative has been involved in the vinification and sale of these wines.<\/p>\n

Since the 1997 vintage, these red, white and ros\u00e9 wines have been recognised as Appellation d’Origine Contr\u00f4l\u00e9e (AOC).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
