at St Andelain and aras of Portland clay.
Alluvial deposits are to be found beside the Loire.
Approx. 50 hl/ha from vines with
an average age of 60 years.
Pneumatic presses are used to ensure
the most gentle pressure which is
gradually exerted on the grapes to give
only the finest juices.
The must is carefully selected and after
allowing it to settle naturally undergoes
temperature controlled fermentation
which lasts for 3 weeks.
should be served chilled 8° from an ice-bucket.
The wine has a lot of rich aromas, peach,
peurs, hazelnuts and fresh mushrooms.
On the palate it is lively, fresh, rich and well-balanced.
After one or two years, serve this wine with starters
seafoods and fishes.
